I wanted to create a place where I can update you on new products, host giveaways, maybe do some tutorials, jabber on and on about my love of bows and hair accessories (because my sweet husband needs a break from it, I'm sure:)), and share a little about my life!
A little bit about me and my family:
God blessed us with our son, Camden, four years ago today (Happy birthday, sweet boy!!). We found out when Camden was about nine months old that he has a type of dwarfism called Hypochondroplasia. You can read more about that journey here on our family blog (which I really need to update!!). He is an amazing little boy with a huge heart and personality. He loves cars and trucks and is so much fun to talk to.
A little under two years later, we welcomed this sweet little lady into our life:
Her name is Finley, and I started making bows for her. She is a spunky, smart, funny, and sometimes sassy little girl. She keeps me very busy and does a lot of supervising and "helping" when I'm in my work room making bows :) She loves to sing and dance and drives her brother crazy.
A little bit about my business:
Patrick and I felt like God was leading me to take a break from teaching and stay at home with our kids so we decided that I would not return to my job after Finley was born. As Finley got a little older (and grew lots of hair that needed to be accessorized!), I started making bows for her at my coffee table. Family and friends started asking me to make things for them, and that eventually led me to open my Etsy shop in June of 2012. We converted part of the playroom into what my husband lovingly refers to as "the bow factory."
What started as a fun little hobby has grown into a passion. Opening my business has given me the chance to stay at home with Camden and Finley while doing something that I adore. It's been such a wonderful creative outlet for me and I've met so many amazing people through it. Thank you so much for being part of my journey!
